Rosario Bona is part of the firm’s Civil Litigation Department and focuses in the areas of Commercial Litigation, Intellectual Property Litigation, Copyright Infringement, Employment Discrimination, Defamation, and Personal Injury, among others.
Rosario currently handles a variety of civil litigation cases, spanning from copyright infringement disputes between leading recording artists to products liability matters involving professional athletes, among others. Rosario’s work involves direct contact with high-profile clients, including prominent public figures and renowned members of the entertainment, music, arts, sports, and hospitality industries. Notably, Rosario has also assisted in jury trials, including one where the jury awarded a sizable verdict to a client who suffered injuries as a result of a car accident.
Rosario received his Master of Laws from Fordham University School of Law and his Juris Doctor degree from LUMSA University in Italy. While in law school, Rosario worked for a global software company and joined our firm as an intern. While studying in Europe, Rosario was selected to join Saint John’s University’s Global Law Fellows Program. Rosario also took part in the XI Open Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Pre-Moot competition in Serbia and had the chance to enhance his legal studies in Poland and Spain.
Rosario is admitted to the practice of law in the State of New York and to the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
Rosario is also a member of the New York City Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association.
In addition to his fluency in English and Spanish, Rosario is a native Italian speaker.
