Rosario Bona is an associate in the firm’s Civil Litigation Department, where he represents clients in a wide range of matters, including Commercial Litigation, Intellectual Property Litigation, Copyright Infringement, Employment Discrimination, Defamation, and Personal Injury, among others. 

Rosario has gained experience practicing in both state and federal courts in New York. He handles and participates in jury trials, arbitrations, and mediations, playing an active role in those proceedings and gaining valuable experience in high-stakes dispute resolution. Rosario’s practice includes routinely drafting pleadings, motions, and opposition memoranda, appearing in court to argue or oppose both dispositive and non-dispositive motions, managing all aspects of discovery, handling court conferences, as well as conducting and defending depositions, demonstrating his ability to advocate for clients at all stages of litigation. 

Rosario’s work involves direct contact with high-profile clients, including public figures and prominent members of the entertainment, music, arts, sports, and hospitality industries. He currently handles a variety of civil litigation cases, spanning from copyright infringement disputes between leading recording artists to products liability matters involving professional athletes, among others. Notably, he assisted in a summary jury trial where the jury awarded a sizable verdict to a client who suffered injuries in a car accident.*

Rosario earned his Master of Laws from Fordham University School of Law with a dual concentration in International Business and Trade Law and Intellectual Property and Information Technology Law. During his time at Fordham Law, he distinguished himself through rigorous academic training and engagement in specialized legal coursework. He also gained valuable experience working for a global software company and joining this firm as an intern. Prior to his studies in the United States, Rosario graduated summa cum laude and obtained his Juris Doctor degree from LUMSA University in Italy. His international legal exposure includes the prestigious selection for and the award of a scholarship to participate in Saint John’s University’s Global Law Fellows Program, as well as advanced legal studies in Poland and Spain. Additionally, Rosario competed in the XI Open Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Pre-Moot competition in Serbia, further honing his skills in commercial dispute resolution. 

Rosario is admitted to the practice of law in the State of New York and to the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.   

Rosario is also a member of the New York City Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association.  

In addition to his fluency in English and Spanish, Rosario is a native Italian speaker.
