Michael DiBenedetto, Esq.

Michael DiBenedetto specializes in Civil Law including Personal Injury, Commercial Litigation, Transactional matters, and Divorce and Family Law. Michael DiBenedetto is a dedicated civil litigation attorney with over eight years of experience advocating for clients in a wide range of civil and family law matters. Specializing in personal injury, commercial disputes, family law and business law, Michael DiBenedetto has built a reputation for providing effective and compassionate legal representation.

Michael DiBenedetto also is one of the counsels to the Kings County Public Administrator where he handles all aspects of estate litigation. 

Throughout his career, Michael DiBenedetto has represented individuals, small businesses, and corporations in both state and federal courts, achieving successful outcomes through meticulous case preparation, strategic negotiation, and a commitment to client advocacy. Known for his client-focused approach, Michael DiBenedetto listens carefully to each client’s concerns and works tirelessly to ensure their legal rights are protected.

Michael was a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Jodi Lee Alper, J.S.C., a General Equity presiding judge in Essex County. During his clerkship, Michael worked primarily on matrimonial matters, as well as on non-dissolution matters. Following Michael’s clerkship, he entered private practice where he specialized in Divorce and Family Law, including post-judgment and pre-judgment divorce matters, alimony, custody, child support, equitable distribution, and enforceability of divorce agreements.

Michael received his Bachelor of Science from the City University of New York Macaulay Honors College and his Juris Doctor degree from Seton Hall University School of Law. While in law school, Michael worked as a student attorney for the Juvenile Justice Clinic, representing juveniles in detention hearings.

Michael is an accomplished civil litigation and family law attorney with extensive experience successfully litigating a broad range of cases in both Federal and State Courts.
