Michael DiBenedetto specializes in Civil Law including Personal Injury, Commercial Litigation, Transactional matters, and Divorce and Family Law.
Michael was a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Jodi Lee Alper, J.S.C., a General Equity presiding judge in Essex County. During his clerkship, Michael worked primarily on matrimonial matters, as well as on non-dissolution matters. Following Michael’s clerkship, he entered private practice where he specialized in Divorce and Family Law, including post-judgment and pre-judgment divorce matters, alimony, custody, child support, equitable distribution, and enforceability of divorce agreements.
Michael received his Bachelor of Science from the City University of New York Macaulay Honors College and his Juris Doctor degree from Seton Hall University School of Law. While in law school, Michael worked as a student attorney for the Juvenile Justice Clinic, representing juveniles in detention hearings.
