Former Giants star Lawrence Taylor in court seeking dismissal in rape case

LT is looking to sack the police.

Former Giants great Lawrence Taylor said today that the rape indictment against him should be dismissed because police did not have a warrant when they busted him inside a Rockland County hotel room.

Taylor’s lawyer Arthur Aidala is seeking to suppress any statements Taylor made when he was arrested.

Taylor, 51, signed an autograph on his way into court in New City, but he did not speak to reporters.

“The police had no authority to enter the hotel room that morning without a warrant,” said Taylor’s lawyer Arthur Aidala after a brief court hearing in New City.

Aidala said Taylor was asleep and alone when cops entered his hotel room without a warrant.

Rockland County prosecutors have not yet responded to the motion.

A judge set Taylor’s next court date on Dec. 23.

The former NFL MVP is accused of having sex with a 16-year-old prostitute in a hotel room in May. He has pleaded not guilty.
