Fox News’ Arthur Aidala weds Marianne Bertuna

Fox News correspondent Arthur Aidala and attorney Marianne Bertuna came up with some inventive vows for their wedding at the Plaza Hotel on Saturday.

In front of an audience of 300, Arthur, who’s a lawyer himself, gallantly pledged to hold Marianne’s “beauty and spa-time sacrosanct.” He selflessly promised “not to wear shoes on the second floor of our house” and to do “very little legal work during the weekends at our house in the Hamptons from July Fourth to Labor Day.” And, more importantly, “not to leave the toilet seat up.”

She in turn made the crucial promise to “respect his male bonding time.”

The nuptials were attended by Alan Dershowitz, State Sen. Martin Golden, Geraldo Rivera and Shepard Smith, while other Fox News colleagues, including Kimberly Guilfoyle, sent messages while attending the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.

The couple will honeymoon in Rhode Island starting Saturday. True to the bride’s word, Arthur spent the day after the wedding on male bonding time, co-hosting a golf outing with Rudy Giuliani and Lawrence Taylor to benefit the Brooklyn Bar Association.
