Al Sharpton, Arthur Aidala, Dottie Herman and John Catsimatidis’ daughter, Andrea, were among VIPs wishing attorney Brad Gerstman happy birthday at the Havana Room.
Donald Trump proxy John Jay LaValle was seen in a smoke-filled back room with Gerstman, in deep conversation about the transition. Gerstman, who’s opening a new office in DC, gave out 500 Cuban cigars and promised to lobby Trump to increase trade with Cuba.
Other guests included his business partner David Schwartz and Democratic pols Andrew Hevesi and Michaelle Solages.
In lieu of gifts, donations were made to the Lisa Beth Gerstman Foundation, which helps disabled kids to attend summer camp.
