Disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein has added three fresh attorneys to his criminal defense team — including New York power couple Arthur Aidala and his wife, Marianne Bertuna.
The married lawyers filed their notices of appearance Tuesday in Manhattan Supreme Court — along with their new associate, former Manhattan prosecutor Diana Fabi Samson.
“Although Harvey Weinstein may not enjoy a positive reputation in the court of public opinion, after our initial review of the evidence, we are confident that a fair and impartial jury will acquit him,” Bertuna told The Post.
Aidala and Bertuna, of the firm Aidala, Bertuna & Kamins, were brought onto the case by Weinstein’s lead defense lawyers, Jose Baez and Ronald Sullivan.
The out-of-town team wanted New York lawyers at the defense table for Weinstein’s upcoming sex assault trial slated to begin June 3, sources said. Weinstein is accused of forcibly performing oral sex on a production assistant in 2006 and raping a longtime lover in 2013.
Baez and Sullivan took over after high-powered attorney Ben Brafman quit in January after clashing with the former Hollywood heavyweight.
“We’re excited Mr. Aidala and Mrs. Bertuna will be joining the team, and we believe that they will add a unique flair to the issues,” said Weinstein spokesman Juda Engelmayer.
Aidala famously represented late parking lot magnate and former Post owner Abe Hirschfeld in a murder-for-hire case.
Lawyer Duncan Levin, who was retained along with Sullivan and Baez, has withdrawn from the case, Engelmayer said.
