CASTRATOR PLEA DEAL IN WORKS

A lawyer defending a young woman accused of killing her abusive stepfather and then castrating him is negotiating with prosecutors for a plea deal that could spare her a potential 25-years-to-life sentence.

Brigitte Harris, 26, was arraigned in Queens Supreme Court yesterday on a second-degree murder indictment in the strangulation death and mutilation of 55-year-old Eric Goodridge in July.

Her family claims she’d been raped and abused by her stepdad for years.

Defense lawyer Arthur Aidala said he’ll be meeting with the DA’s office to “speak with them about a possible disposition.

“We’re very happy that they’re giving us the opportunity to go in and tell our side of the story,” he said.

The results of a psychiatric exam showed Harris is fit to stand trial.
